Minutes of the last meeting
The minutes were handed out and read they were proposed by ?? and seconded by ??
Matters Arising
CC, George Matchett said that money was ring fenced for community wardens, one warden was employed but we are still short of one warden. The 30 mile per hour speed restriction board at the top of Tullibody was awaiting parts to get it working some of these speed restriction boards throughout the county are also awaiting parts, it was questioned whether we could have speed cameras fitted to these boards as drivers were not heeding them, the chairman asked PC Brown if this area could be covered by the hand held speed detectors for a period of time, PC Brown took note of this.
P.C Elizabeth Brown Central Scotland Police Report
PC Brown gave out figures for crimes in the county then the statistics for lower west Tullibody for the month of September. 1 undetected crime file. Tullibody 17 detected crime files, 11 undetected crime files, 26 road traffic offences.
The chairman said that recent reports of the regeneration extra policing were encouraging and having a good effect on the crime figures.
Community Wardens Report
Foot patrols 8 hours, mobile patrols 7.5 hours; fly tipping one instance, one instance of youth disorder. He was also called to Glenkinchie youth disorder but it was only youths enjoying themselves, the sound of their voices was travelling further because it was a still night. It was noted that the under age drinking initiative had been launched and that cctv could record evidence, the problem is mainly at the weekend we need more police presence and an increase in community police is required, it was stated that the chief constable should be looking at tension indicators, teenage drinking, and involve community leaders, parking on double yellow lines in Ochil street could traffic wardens be used here, the chairman pointed out that at the delph pond clean up on the first of September a roof panel for the gazebo at the play area was recovered from the pond could this now be replaced.

Sandra asked if Josh O`Hagen, development officer for Ochil View could attend the October meeting to present plans for the next phase of the new build at Newmills.
A presentation was given to the Braes and Banchory residents association on the 17th of September about Ochilviews plans for improving their housing stock to meet the Scottish housing quality standard between now and 2015. This detailed the work planned for each street in each year; Sandra will bring this information along to the next meeting so that everyone is aware of the proposals for the area.
Quotes are currently awaited for the upgrade of the security doors at Alloa road and the instillation of CCTV once these are received there will be a consultation with the residents before this work proceeds.
A query was raised about an ongoing situation with regard to repairs at a house in Talisker, Sandra will investigate and the tenant will be contacted.
Clackmannanshire Councillor George Matchett `s report
The chairman welcomed councillor Matchett to the meeting, he gave a short resume of his position in Clackmannanshire council and the various committees he was involved in. he is on the board of Central Scotland police, community justice, the licensing board, civic rejuvenation, and the portfolio of education and leisure, recommendations of current leisure facilities, there is also an education report on Lornshill academy attainment levels, there are 19 primary schools in the county, three schools need attention. Craigbank, St Johns and St Mungos, we might need to build new primary schools.

World wrestling in Helsinki, Ryan??????. Lack of lighting from West View crescent to Delph wynd, can something be done about this. There will be a meeting of the Delph pond forum soon. Bridget Buchan will present the wreath at this year’s remembrance service at St Serf’s church on behalf of the community council.
As there was no other business the chairman thanked everyone for his or her attendance and closed the meeting.
