Clacks Councillor’s Report
Clacks Councillor George Matchett that the council is coming to terms with the directives from Scottish executive on policies dealing with Inspiring Scotland and Fairer Scotland but could have difficulty balancing budget finances when the guidelines do not cover all aspects of council spenditures. He also informed the meeting that he is in the middle of the selection of the new Police Chief Constable for the Clacks area and his priority for the incoming Chief will be that he concentrate on stronger community policing we want a safer central Scotland with positive attitude to community police there should be an action plan on a template for community police with a general increase of the input from members of the community themselves why just national targets and not central localised knowledge of the problems facing the community. He hopes the successful candidate for the Chief constable will have Community police high up in his agenda.
L.Hiddleston asked the councillor if he could find out why there was no lollipop person at the Orchard side of Abercrombie school and St Bernadette’s for 2 days last week and the number of cars parked at that area is becoming unsafe if lollipop person going to missing regularly.

O.V.H.A Report
Christine Clark informed the meeting that the second phase of the development at Newmills should up and done by the beginning of the next year everything going to plan. The outside work to the flats at Alloa road were complete and satisfactory to all the residents but they have already had some vandalism to the intercom and security systems, that is being dealt with and the association has decided to redecorate the closes and stairways of the flats next since they are badly in need of it.
