Minute of meeting of 30th April, 2002

PRESENT:

1. PREVIOUS MINUTES:

Linda apologised for producing the wrong minutes for this meeting, the minutes will be produced at the next meeting.

2. MATTERS ARISING:

Due to the wrong minutes being presented there were no matters arising.

3. CORRESPONDENCE

A list of correspondence was circulated to all present

The community council received a reply from our MP Martin O`Neil regurding the lack of police in the forth valley area. He wishes to meet with the community council on Friday the 3rd of May at 4pm. It is hoped all community councillors will attend.

4.TREASURERS REPORT:

Margaret stated that there was £656.60. in the account.

The treasurer then handed out the balance sheet.

5. A.O.C.B.:

1. The community council did not receive their grant last year. Linda is to enquire about this.

2. It has now been six months since Lawrence Hunter attended the meeting reguarding the CAP office. He said he would keep the community council updated on the current situation, the community council have received no response since.

3. The community council received a number of complaints about the article in the Daily Record painting Tullibody as a den of vandalism, the community council agreed they made the area sound worse than it is. It was agreed to write to them and complain.
