2. A letter was received from Vodaphone, they wish to put a mast up in the Tullibody area.
3. A letter was received from Trace Riddock asking if the community council would help to campaign for CCTV in Abercrombie school, the community council agreed they would help to campaign for CCTV for all the schools in Tullibody.

A.O.C.B; As a result of the outcome of the public meeting held to discuss the future
of the war memorial, the chairperson will write to Allan Gall re the
Upgrading of the Lychgate Park and the repairs to the haer stane.

The chairperson finally received a reply from the chief constable reguarding
the selection and training of community constables, he will meet with one of
the chief constables staff officers to discuss the training programme.

There were two letters received on the community councils discussion
Forum.

1. The first letter was from Ali Stalker who lives in delph road, he had been walking
in the delph pond area, and had come across a discarded roll of tin foil under one of
the benches, also smaller pieces of tin foil that had blackened marks where it was obvious it had been heated up, these are obvious signs of people using heroin, he is concerned that it will not be long until discarded needles will be lying around presenting a danger to young people.

The chairperson discussed this with the police and asked if patrols to the delph pond area could be stepped up, the police agreed to do this.

2. The second letter was from Kev Kazoo, who lives in the orchard area of Tullibody,
Basically what Mr. Kazoo is complaining about is the run down condition of his dwelling place, the vandalism in his area, and because he is single he can not get an upgraded property due to the points system, if he was moved to a decent property he would use his 19 years tenancy to buy it.

The community council made enquiries on behalf of Mr. Kazoo and found out he is trapped in a run down property because of the points system, I am sure there are other single young people in the same situation and we think the points system should be reviewed so that young single people will not be trapped in a situation like Mr. Kazoo.

It was brought to the community council’s attention that there are no dog bins
Around the delph pond area, Linda will enquire.

There were complaints about the large amounts of litter lying around on the streets,
Linda will contact environmental health.

Residents of Glenkinche were enquiring if it is legal to have a video camera in your
living room looking out on to the street.

There being no other business the chairman closed the meeting and thanked
everyone for attending.

D.O.N.M. 24\09\02 7pm in the civic centre Tullibody.
